Hilary Woods is an Irish artist working across music composition and analogue film. Weaving song, sound, drone, tape, textures, collage, moving image and field recordings into evocative sonic inflections and dirges of feeling in her rare live performances, she has released critically acclaimed records on Sacred Bones Records and Boomkat Editions. Past live shows include Cafe Oto London, Pioneer Works at Public Records New York, Le Guess Who? and Roadburn 2024. A ceremony of light and shade, Hilary’s anticipated new record Night CRIÚ is due to be released on 31st October 2025 via Sacred Bones. Following two experimental instrumental records in Feral Hymns (2021) and Acts of Light (2023), Hilary Woods returns on her new LP to song form and most notably to her voice.
