Félicia Atkinson è una musicista e artista francese nata nel 1981 a Parigi. Il suo lavoro tratta temi di ascolto profondo, cut up, silenzio, rumore e linguaggio ed è una combinazione di improvvisazione e composizione sovrapposta, come un materiale tessuto astratto, dove la voce incontra l’elettronica, gli strumenti acustici e i field recordings. I suoi ultimi album sono Everything Evaporate (2020), The Flower and the Vessel (2019), Hand in Hand (2017) e A Readymade Ceremony (2015), oltre a lavorare con Jefre Cantu-Ledesma su Limpid As The Solitudes (2018) e Comme Un Seul Narcisse (2016), tutti pubblicati su Shelter Press.

Recentemente ha suonato al Berlin Atonal, al Barbican di Londra, al Semi Breve festival di Braga, Unsound Karkow, Le Guess Who Utrecht, all’ISSUE Project Room di New York, al Festival Presences Electroniques di Parigi e allo Zebulon di Los Angeles.

Félicia Atkinson is a French musician and artiste born in 1981 in Paris. Her work deals with topics of deep listening, cut ups, silence, noise, and language and is a combination of improvisation and superimposed composition, as an abstract woven material, where the voice meets electronics, acoustic instruments, and field recordings.
