Adriano Zanni was born in 1964 in Ravenna. In the last 25 years he has lived, worked, walked those same places, documenting visually and sonically the cumbersome presence of those seemingly alien structures which surround the city and border with the Adriatic Sea. Huge pipes, vapours, concrete and steel, ships carving through the land to feed the voracious plant.

Adriano Zanni è nato nel 1964 a Ravenna. Negli ultimi 25 anni ha vissuto, lavorato e camminato negli stessi luoghi, documentando visivamente e sonoramente la presenza ingombrante di quelle strutture apparentemente aliene che circondano la città e confinano con il Mare Adriatico. Enormi tubature, vapori, cemento e acciaio, navi che solcano la terra per alimentare l’impianto vorace.
