Roberta Sammarelli is known for being the songwriter and bassist of the band Verdena, founded in 1995 by brothers Alberto and Luca Ferrari. Before joining Verdena in 1996, Roberta played guitar in a punk band from Bergamo called Porno Nuns, alongside Aiki, now better known as Miss Violetta Beauregarde. Since 2001, she has also been part of a project called Demons at Play, a DJ duo for which she is the selector. In 2006, she collaborated on The Empty Space, the debut album by [n!], the pseudonym of Italian-American singer-songwriter Nicholas Restivo. Another musical project she collaborates on is Rezophonic, a musical/humanitarian project involving various artists from the Italian alternative rock scene. In 2024, she toured with Motta.

Roberta Sammarelli è conosciuta per essere autrice e bassista del gruppo musicale Verdena, fondato nel 1995 dai fratelli Alberto e Luca Ferrari. Prima di entrare nei Verdena nel 1996, Roberta ha suonato come chitarrista in un gruppo punk di Bergamo, le Porno Nuns in cui militava con Aiki, oggi meglio conosciuta come Miss Violetta Beauregarde. Dal 2001 fa inoltre parte di un progetto, il duo dj set chiamato Demons at Play come selecter. Nel 2006 ha collaborato alla realizzazione di The Empty Space, l’album di debutto di [n!], pseudonimo del cantautore italo-americano Nicholas Restivo. Un altro progetto musicale a cui collabora è quello dei Rezophonic, progetto musicale/umanitario a cui partecipano diversi artisti della scena alternative rock italiana. Il 2024 l’ha vista in tour con Motta.
